What's Needed

Funding is ALWAYS needed for non-profit agencies such as the Star Advocacy Center.

Currently we are looking for donations and/or grants for the following:

$1,000- to file for official non-profit status from the IRS and for bank account set-up.

Task Force Funds- 

The task force is responsible for networking with the community and finding ways for the advocacy center and community to help each other.  The task force is comprised of members of the community, survivors, advocates, law enforcement, political leaders, school administration, hospital administration, legal professionals, clergy, and victim services.

The task force meets once per month as well as participates in events and fundraising as scheduled.

Location Grant or Donation-

We are looking for a location to have the Star Advocacy Center.  An ideal location will be:

·        Centrally located (preferably Thatcher or Safford area)

·        Have at least 4 bedrooms or offices

·        Have at least 2 bathrooms

·        Have or have Potential for sound, safety, security, and privacy set up

·        Have 1-2 large rooms to be used as waiting rooms

·        Kitchen or kitchenette area

We need either the money to purchase a location, or the location itself donated.

Other needed items will be posted as the need arises for them.

ALL donations are tax-deductable because we are a non-profit.

We will be happy to provide any donator with a receipt of their donation for tax purposes.
